October 10 – December 16, 2012

The Michael apartment at Holly’s House has been a wonderful place to call home as we waited for our daughter, Emily, to receive her new heart. She got it on November 5th and the Michael apartment proved to be the ideal spot for our family to come and go from. Your caring and extra touches meant so much to us as we went through these difficult days. The furry blanket is the BEST! Thank you for everything.

Serenity House was the perfect choice for us while Sylvia went through a Bone Marrow Transplant at Mayo Clinic. The Patrick apartment was a great place for reflection and meditation while being close to the Clinic for our twice daily visits. Being close to good shopping and churches was an added bonus.

November 7- December 7, 2012 What a perfect place to stay while I attended the PRC at Mayo! Clean, cozy and comfortable. Thank you so much!

Such a great “home away from home” to come to everyday while being here in Rochester. We’ve been here almost 5 weeks while Bob had a stem cell transplant for Multiple Myeloma. The long days of testing and treatment were made just a little bit easier knowing we could come “home” and rest. The Brigid Apartment in Serenity House was very clean, well furnished and we felt very safe here. Thank you Greg and Jodie for offering such a great place.

Thank you doesn’t seem enough to say for all you have given to us during our stay here. The home is perfect and we felt so at home. Thank you even more for the friendship and support you have given during this most difficult journey of bone marrow transplant. Greg – I will miss our almost daily chats. Sunny Place Cottage was the perfect fit for our family! You have done a fantastic job of making this place feel like our home-away-from-home. It was so nice to not have to worry about bringing towels or bedding or anything for that matter. The rooms are cozy, the laundry convenient and when we weren’t at the hospital, we thoroughly enjoyed the deck!!

We can’t thank you enough for offering such arrangements. Our 10-year-old daughter had a liver transplant and this offered a wonderful healing environment for her. Plus, we felt confident that everything was clean and safe for her to relax. Our son loved the large screen TV’s and it was nice that there was a park not too far away.

But most of all, you made us feel welcome and made this otherwise difficult time for us much easier to get through.

PS Please consider talking to someone from pediatric liver transplant – no one seemed familiar with Serenity House Network and I think it could be a great option for many of these families.

July 20 – August 4, 2012 Our stay here was awesome! While I attended teen PRC (Pain Rehabilitation Center) this place was great to come back to after a long day. It made me feel at home. Thank you Greg, Jodie and Serenity House Network!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while I went through the PRC (Pain Rehabilitation Center) program. The beautiful scenery from the sliding door and windows has been a relaxing view.

This is such a wonderful place especially compared to the hotels the other people going through the PRC program were staying in.
