Cliffy Apt. 2019: Fully Furnished Apartment For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
We came to Mayo Clinic from Kuwait for my son’s surgery. We ended up staying at Annie’s house in Cliffy for four months. We were anxious about our son’s medical care, but staying with Serenity House Network relieved any anxiety we had about accommodations. This ended up being our home away from home for our anniversary and Thanksgiving. Thanks for the lovely pumpkin pie SHN! June Ann and Greg were the best. They would check in from time to time and kept the snow cleared, which is great for us desert dwellers.
Thank you for all you do. God Bless.
Erin Apt. 2019: Fully Furnished Apartment For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Thank you Greg and Jodie for providing a cozy home like environment for my husband and I as we went through pre-op and surgery for my husband. This was so nice and so close to the hospital. The garage was a great plus for this time of year.
We wouldn’t have known of Serenity House Network if it weren’t for Mayo Clinic’s concierge service. Keep your name out there so others can enjoy this home away from home when needed. We wish every person who visits this home the very best. We give thanks to God for his goodness.

Pine Tree Place Home 2019: Fully Furnished House For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Thank you so much for a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay while my husband underwent treatments at Mayo Clinic. Dottie’s Place Home 2019: Fully Furnished House For Mayo Clinic Stem Cell Transplant Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Thank you very much to the Serenity House Network staff. The house was excellent and I loved the TV and cable to keep me occupied so I would not think about my nausea during my stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma. Loved to have a home away from home and liked to be able to take walks in such a nice and quiet neighborhood. Wonderful facilities. I love that you open this to Mayo patients to rent.
May the Lord continue to bless you. You are a gift from God. Many blessings!
Doris Apt. 2019: Fully Furnished Apartment For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Greg and June Ann were great hosts! Our family came up for the entire month of July. However, due to circumstances we were required to stay longer. They went above and beyond to find us this apartment for the extra time that we needed a “home”. We are very blessed to have met and dealt with Serenity House Network.
My family and I are leaving Mayo/Rochester much better than when we arrived. Greg and June Ann took care of lodging worries so we could focus on our girls. We will definitely recommend SHN to anyone that is planning to come to Mayo in the future.
James Apt. 2019: Fully Furnished Apartment For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Thank you for a nice place to stay. The fresh bread was great!
My caregivers really liked the upstairs. We had people over several times including our grandchildren. They loved the deck area. My favorite part of staying here was watching the wild life. We had 2 chipmunks, 3 adult bunnies and 1 baby bunny, 3 squirrels, and lots of birds, including the baby birds in the bird house. I loved watching them all.
We would stay with Serenity House Network again! we will recommend to anyone we know needing a place to stay!
Dottie’s Place 2019: Fully Furnished Home For Mayo Clinic Scheurman’s Kyphosis Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Dottie’s Place has been a great “home away from home” for me, my daughter Lisha and her 2 children, Colby-15 and Cassie-4. Colby needed the quiet atmosphere, privacy and home cooked meals to recover. Plus, the basement “playroom” for the 4 year old was a blessing!
Mayo Clinic was the absolute best place for Colby’s surgery for Scheurman’s Kyphosis. It was a great success. His spine went from an 87 degree curvature to a 35 degree curvature (normal is a 20 to 50 degree curve). Colby had a wonderful surgeon. We thank Mayo Clinic for recommending Serenity House Network!
Tara’s Place 2019: Fully Furnished Home For Mayo Clinic Stem Cell Transplant Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
Dear Friends,
“Come to me and I shall give you rest.” You are doing the Lord’s work at Serenity House Network.
It was a difficult 2018-2019 winter as we received John’s multiple myeloma diagnosis and began treatment. He responded well and we were made aware that he may be a candidate for an autologous stem cell transplant. We were elated but also overwhelmed by the details of leaving our farm for six weeks during the crop season. How do we handle all of this? Where will we live and who can we trust?
We were aware that another Decorah resident had received the same medical treatment at Mayo. We called them for advice. She recommended the Serenity House Network. She said “You’ll feel almost like you are home”. She was right on!
When we called SHN for a reservation, there were two options for us. We settled upon Tara’s Place. This was an excellent option for two people comfortable in a rural environment.
During our time here we have enjoyed the birds, flowers, crops growing across the road, and the green space all around. One evening a small frog joined me on the deck.
When preparing for our stay, six weeks seemed like a long time to be away from home and family. However, the time passed quickly as renting Tara’s Place allowed us to host friends and family in our spacious environment.
Although we were in a stressful situation, we found “serenity” here. As we prepare to return home, we will remember Tara’s Place and SHN with fondness. You all were our “bridge over troubled waters”. God bless and keep you as you continue your work.
