We feel blessed to have found Serenity House Networks Brigid apartment for our 7 week stay for a kidney transplant and donor experience. Greg and his team were very friendly and accommodating. A few of our favorite things for comfort were the fireplace, garage, and comfortable beds. We enjoyed a walking path that is close and maintained well.

We appreciated the kindness when our stay needed to be extended. They took all the stress out of it for us.

Our stay was during covid and since we needed to be careful, we appreciated the ease and closeness of curbside pickup at HyVee and Target.

We feel fortunate to have found such a great place that is run by good people for this journey.

We arrived here on January 2nd to stay while I had my stem cell transplant. Everything was amazing! Greg was top notch, he even brought us a loaf of cinnamon chip bread from Great Harvest Bakery. It is a must to try their bread!

From my original call to Serenity House Network until check out time, everything was very professional. They were great to work with. I would definitely recommend staying with SHN to everybody. SHN’s Shannon’s Place worked great for us.

Thank you so much to Serenity House Network. It was so nice to have a comfortable place to come back to after the long days at the hospital. Everything was new, upgraded and I had all I needed.

This home has been our port in the storm called cancer. We arrived on November 29th for appointments at Mayo. By 1:30 the next morning Dick’s esophagus tumor had closed off space and he couldn’t swallow. He had surgery the next day to place a feeding tube into his side. He developed a life threatening infection resulting in 19 surgical procedures in 23 days. After 31 days of hospitalization he was able to begin cancer treatment a week after his release. That was the week we should have been going home if treatment had gone as planned. After 5 chemotherapy and 25 radiation treatments we are finally going home!

We want to express heartfelt gratitude to Serenity House Network for allowing us to change our departure date twice. Greg and June Ann have met our every need, even providing a Christmas tree and a delicious Christmas bread. We couldn’t have found a better place to call home while on our journey to defeat cancer. May God bless these caring people.

We are so thankful for Serenity House Network providing us and our family a clean and safe environment for my husband to recover in. The home was set up in a way that was easy for him to get around in and was also a very convenient location. The home was very clean and well kept. We also want to thank the SHN ministry for the birthday wishes given to our little boy and for welcoming us into the house.

We were welcomed and felt comfort from the day we met Greg at the Doris apartment in Annie’s house. I had a stem cell transplant and felt safe in this setting as well as encouraged by all the scripture references throughout the apartment. Its a great set up and furnished well. The garage was a huge bonus for the wintery days. Our sidewalk and driveway areas were always the first in this neighborhood to be cleared. There was prompt service for any minor repair needed and with a smile or joke to accompany that service. It was nice to have the ability to have visitors over a long stay. My grand kids were able to come because of where we stayed. I highly recommend Serenity House Network.

We stayed at Cathy apartment in Alwood House while I had radiation treatment at Mayo. While it was difficult to be away from home for so long, we felt less like a patient and more like a resident of Rochester. This is thanks to Serenity House Network. Thank you for this blessing in our lives.

Our daughter donated a kidney through the partnership program at Mayo and my husband received one compatible with his blood type on the same day. What a wonderful place to start our journey. Our Serenity House Network apartment was quiet and clean. My favorite convenience was the warm garage on cold January mornings! With grateful hearts-Thank you!

We stayed with Serenity House Network three years ago when Scott received his kidney transplant. On November 16th, 2021 he was fortunate to receive a pancreas after a failed transplant in May 2021.

Through all the ups and downs we felt so fortunate to know we had such a comfortable home away from home to come to at the end of the day.

Thank you Greg and SHN for your hospitality! If we ever need to return to Rochester we will surely stay with SHN.

This was a second stay for us in Rochester with Serenity House Network. We loved the Twin Pines house! Great neighborhood to walk when the weather held out. This private home was exactly what we wanted. So thankful for SHN!
