Neighborhood Nook is a private home with updates in 2022. The Neighborhood Nook is located in a residential neighborhood a few minutes from Mayo Clinic. This fully furnished home has all living space on the main floor. In addition to the living room, dining room, 4 season porch, and bedrooms on the main floor, there is also a laundry room on the lower level. One detached garage stall with remotes is included. The living room also includes a beautiful gas fireplace.

2024 Neighborhood Nook House: Fully Furnished Home For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
It has been an awesome blessing to stay with Serenity House Network at the Neighborhood Nook house. It was the perfect place for us. When I began to pray about coming to Rochester to care for and support our daughter Mechelle, I knew we had to come but lodging and finances were a problem. But I really believe the Lord wanted us in a house. Thus the Neighborhood Nook. Our daughter Mechelle and husband Curtis live in IA just 4 hours away. Her dad and I live outside Nashville, TN. It was a long haul for us since he no longer drives long distances. However, the Lord blessed us with a safe trip. Curtis stayed with Mechelle the first week. Her dad and I have been here 3 weeks today.
Being here in this sweet lovely home has been a life saver. So convenient to Mayo. The perfect size home. We’ve enjoyed the grill and patio on warmer days. My husband has walked many miles since we’ve been here. Mechelle and I have walked when we can.
The house was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The little sunroom was my sanctuary when I could sit. We’ve enjoyed watching and feeding the squirrels and had a chipmunk one day! I fell in love with Rochester. What a great little city. So different from the big city of Nashville. Mayo is amazing! So thankful Mechelle decided to come here after another hospital gave her no hope. She’s now on the liver transplant list!
Everyone at SHN was awesome! Brent was great and always so helpful.
I hope others are as blessed as we were by staying at Neighborhood Nook.
