We are so grateful to have found Serenity House Network.

I was fortunate enough to be a match with my husband. I was able to donate my kidney to him, with us having surgery on July 10, 2017.

We started out in a hotel room and ended up in a home.

Thank you so much for everything. If we need to stay long-term again, we will be back!

For our first visit to Minnesota we were blessed to find Annie’s House so accommodating to all our needs.

We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We especially liked how close we were to Mayo Clinic, and how convenient everything around the area made our stay even more relaxed. We look forward to returning, knowing Annie’s will provide for anything and everything our family could need.

Thank you all! Everyone has been so kind to us. It is such a comfort to come into this situation and have a home to stay in. My husband’s appetite hasn’t been great and I was able to fix whatever he wanted any time he wanted it. Knowing there are so many people praying for us is awesome.

Leaving today after a week here at Mayo. Although the results were not what we had hoped for, we are confident in our hearts that God always does what is best for His children.

There is a nice coffee shop up 18th called St. James. Good coffee and nice atmosphere! And the Saturday market downtown has lovely produce.

My sister-in-law was sent to the Mayo Clinic for a neurological study. My brother could not make the 1200 mile trip from South Carolina without some help. I began searching for lodging for the week but was not looking forward to staying in a hotel. My husband traveled with us and I knew he couldn’t go to all the appointments with us so when I found Serenity House Network I called right away.

This has been very comfortable for him as well as for my sister-in-law. We got a diagnosis today so we are going home – well rested. It has been wonderful to have had a great, comfortable home away from home.

Not only has Annie’s provided a comfortable, well-furnished, and convenient location for us to live the past 4 1/2 weeks…but it has also served as a little “retreat” from all the hustle and bustle and obligations of time, energy, and the pressures of our typical days. We are so grateful to have found Serenity House Network and Annie’s Patient Hospitality House.

We have been blessed by the staff we have met – Jodie, Greg, Joanna, June Ann – and are equally thankful for all the people “behind the scenes” who have prayed for us, who donated their time and/or goods and services and have shown the love of Christ Jesus in other ways. What a blessing this home has been! I arrived here 6+ weeks ago with my son Elliot (8) and daughters Glory (6) and Eve (3).

Elliot has had 3 surgeries in the last year to remove a brain tumor and it keeps growing back! So we packed up and came to Mayo for proton beam radiation. Dad had to stay in Michigan to work and our 10 year-old Lucy joined us two weeks ago after school let out.

This home has kept me sane throughout this exasperating time! Having a clean, restful place to be after long days of appointments has been such a blessing.

The kids have loved playing in the yard, walking to the park, and exploring the rock garden (they made fairy gardens). Not to mention chatting with Greg and Kaitlin!

I have felt so supported and cared for here. And that has made all the difference. It’s bittersweet to be going home because we have such a caring “home” in Rochester now. Thank you all so much for making Serenity House such a special place to be!

My dad found out roughly two years ago that he has PSC. It’s a condition that affects the bile ducts and causes cirrhosis of the liver. He needed a new liver. I was fortunate enough to be a match, so we were here for the transplant surgery.

I am very thankful for this fantastic place to stay. It was great to be able to prepare meals here and to have the space to move around after I was released from the hospital. We even got to see Independence Day fireworks out the upstairs window.

Our surgeries went well and I’m headed home tomorrow. God’s blessings to Serenity House Network and to all those staying here in the future!
