This home away from home was a blessing. We needed 2 bedrooms on account of my husbands parents helping me with the care giving of my husband during his SCT. The Serenity House Network facilities are so nice and help give comfort when going thru a major medical procedure. Thanks & God Bless

My husband, myself and our adult children were able to make the Johnston House-Quincy our home away from home for the month of June.

Our stay was for my husband to receive a kidney transplant with me being his donor. It has been so nice to have a comfortable, safe place to come to each day during our recovery.

The accommodations were very nice and clean which aided in our recovery. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies.

The quiet neighborhood and Silver Lake’s close proximity were great for our walks.

In January 2018 everything changed in our life. When we were told to find a place to live in Rochester, to be close to the hospital, my anxiety went sky high. When I came across the phone number for Serenity House Network , and after I talked to Greg, I could breathe again.

What a Blessing this Serenity House Network apartment has been! It truly has been a home away from home. The inspirational sayings around the apartment have been a gift from God. Such a sign of encouragement. Greg and his “family” have been a joy to work with. God is using them in Rochester to represent Christ.

I attended the Pain Rehabilitation Center for chronic pain due to 2 tick infections: Aneplasmosis and Ehrlichia. My stay here was very homey and very nice. I was staying by myself and I felt very safe and could relax and do my exercises that were suggested by the PRC program.

I am a mother of 6 children and live in Streator, IL. Thank you Serenity House Network! You were an answer to my prayers. I prayed to God and He gave me you!!

Serenity House Network has been such a lovely place to stay while going to PRC at Mayo. It has been such a blessing. I came here to Rochester very weak and in so much pain. Now I feel amazing and look forward to my new life. Thank you Greg for all you have done for us. God Bless.

Serenity House Network was a wonderful place to stay- we only wish it had been warm enough to enjoy the sun porch!

All three beds were very comfortable (as are the couch and recliner!), and it was nice for my son to have the study to do his homework.

We were here for the Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Clinic. It is a very challenging program. It was a relief to have a “home” to return to at the end of each long day.

One night remains for us in the “other house” as our family has affectionately called the Serenity House Network home. We’re from an Iowa farming community, so the Big City has been quite a change for us…but we’ve come to love the convenience of everything here in Rochester.

Our 10 year old son has been going through Proton radiation at Mayo for a tumor that was around his left eye. The cancer is gone and our prayer is that it NEVER returns!

We have 5 kiddos ages 2-10. We have been so blessed to stay here together for this month of treatments. The Sierra Apartment has fit our family’s needs perfectly! So much better than a cramped, stuffy hotel…this was our home!

Thank you So much Greg and other staff of SHN. You’ve met a real need and truly have an amazing ministry here!
