We feel so blessed to have been put in touch with the caring, welcoming group at the Serenity House Network. My sister Jane spent several weeks undergoing radiation treatments at Mayo Clinic oncology department. With just several days notice we needed a place to call a temporary home and the wonderful James apartment fit our needs perfectly. What made this so special were the people we came in contact with from Serenity House. From the time we arrived they truly were there to answer any questions about Rochester and made us feel welcome each time we returned from treatments and would walk passed the office to get to our apartment. The difference here is the people. They were professional yet making each of us feel that they truly do care about her and her needs and asking what they could do to make this difficult journey better.
Should we come across anyone else needing to spend extended time at Mayo Clinic, SHN would be our number one recommendation. Special thanks to Greg, June Ann and Denise. You have all been wonderful and so pleasant during our time here. Blessings to all of you and your families as well. We were honored to get to know a bit about each of you and will always remember your kindness and prayers. You have become a special part of Jane’s journey and we are thankful for everything.

We are really grateful for Serenity House Network’s Doris apartment. The apartment was a wonderful home away from home during my kidney transplant and recovery. They have thought of just everything a person could possibly need to feel right at home. The staff are friendly and so helpful. I appreciated them praying for me. Always appreciated. The beds were super comfy. We enjoyed having two bedrooms. It gave each of us our own space and my own bed to heal and rest without being disturbed. We will definitely stay again if its ever needed.

Shannon’s Place was an answer to prayer for us! My wife had a liver transplant the end of July and this was a wonderful place for us to stay during the first month’s recuperation. Two of our sons were able to come stay with us one at a time thanks to the second bedroom. This was a great place for us to stay and we really enjoyed our time here. Greg and June Ann were great to work with! I would recommend Shannon’s Place and the Serenity House Network to everyone coming for an extended medical stay in Rochester!
