My husband had a kidney transplant on October 27th. He received a kidney from my best friend. We chose the Quincy house so we could all stay together. We loved the location and how easy it is to get to the daily appointments at Mayo. We would highly recommend Serenity House Network to everyone. When the weather was nice I would go for a walk in the park nearby. The welcome bread was amazing.

We came to Mayo Clinic so my husband could have a bone marrow transplant. This required a 3 month stay in Rochester. God graciously provided a beautiful home for us with Serenity House Network. We stayed at the Cathy apartment and it truly became our “home away from home”. We are so thankful for the kind and gracious care of the SHN family who made us feel loved and cared for. You were God’s special blessing to us. Thank you for your tender care.

We sure enjoyed our safe, home like stay. Everyone has been so accommodating. When I first was diagnosed we spent 10 days at a hotel. It was difficult. At the Serenity House Network we could come back each day like we were going home.

We are very grateful to SHN. Thank you for everything. We are coming back. God Bless.

We enjoyed our stay at the James Apartment. It was comforting to chat with June Ann and Traci. They helped get us connected in the Rochester community. We did not feel so alone being away from family and friends during chemotherapy treatments and follow up appointments at the clinic.

During the warmer weather we spent time on the deck watching the squirrels, rabbits, and birds. The upstairs window was a nice spot for prayer time. There was a great view of a beautiful tree filled with different birds. I saw cardinals, black capped chick-a-dees, downy wood peckers and a cat that climbed the tree one day. The sunny dining room was a great spot for computer work.

I thank God for helping us find the perfect place to stay while my husband had a stem cell transplant. The people who own and operate Serenity House Network are the most thoughtful caring and supportive people we have come across. This place has been a “home away from home” to us. It had everything we needed and an easy drive to the hospital.

Thank you to all who helped us through this very difficult time.

We stayed at Quincy from September 25th through today for a kidney transplant and donation through the paired exchange program. Both surgeries went well and we got to go home to St. Michael a week early. Serenity House Network made the whole process so easy. It was nice to have a home away from home while we were recovering.

The homes location is so conveniently located to the Mayo Clinic which made it very nice being able to come back here in between appointments instead of staying at the hospital.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful home in such a great location. The staff at SHN are top notch.

We needed a home base and found it at Serenity House Network with Yvette’s House.

We came early to be able to break up the drive to take our older daughter to college in FL. Our other daughter started proton radiation the first week of August. The three bedrooms were essential for a rotation of help from grandparents, an uncle and aunt, her older brother and us parents. The basement came in handy as well.

There are lots of close by stores and restaurants. The Roku tv is slick for spectrum and other apps. We watched a fair amount of the little league world series. Being close to Mayo, Whitewater State Park, Oxbow, summer music and the farmers market were great perks.

We are thankful and grateful for Serenity House Network’s Dottie House during a very challenging surgery and recovery. Dottie’s House was comfortable and close to St. Mary’s Hospital. Further, we’re very appreciative that SHN was able to extend our stay and accommodate us at another property after having setbacks and longer recovery time than expected. We give thanks and praise to our Lord for the entire SHN team and for the blessing of shelter in a time of need.
