I want to tell everyone how much of a blessing it has been to be able to stay here at the Serenity House Network’s Lottie apartment. Everyone has been so friendly and I felt very at home during my uncle’s stay at Mayo Clinic.

I have felt very blessed to have Serenity House Network’s Yvette’s House as an option for housing during my husbands liver transplant at Mayo Clinic. The house was clean, safe and a convenient option for our home away from home for about a month. The comfort of having our own private house with a full kitchen, laundry and garage in a quiet, safe neighborhood made his recovery so much easier. The home was about a five minute drive to the clinic and hospital which was great for follow up appointments.

Having the owners in the neighborhood was also a bonus. Winter has been never ending for 2023 and I never had to worry about snow being cleared for early appointments. The walks and driveway were always cleared and salted.

SHN is a blessing for anyone needing long term lodging with family accommodations.

Being here for a bi-lateral lung transplant for 92 days was a stressful experience. Greg, Jodie and June Ann lightened that burden. From the delicious bread upon arrival to the last day, we always felt cared for. June Ann was an angel and a comfort on difficult days and a happy friend to share goods news with. What a gem!

The apartment was ideal for our adult sons and other family to visit and the location was convenient. Lotus nails does a great pedicure. The Purple Goat had great burgers and Asian Fusion had excellent Thai delivery. It was a comfortable home away from home. Blessings and thanks be to God!

My wife and I have both been receiving treatment for cancer over the past year. We needed a place for a short period of time for additional treatment and chose Serenity House Network. The Julianna apartment was just the place for us. Greg met us here and provided an excellent orientation along with a very addictive cinnamon chip bread!

June Anne and Denise are wonderful people who have been available in the office on a regular basis throughout the month long stay. We can’t say enough about their caring attitude and assistance. If we are looking again for a long stay we will without a doubt choose this network as a home away from home!

What a cozy comfy home away from home. A great place for my family to stay and relax while I was in having a transplant surgery done. It was a great place for me to continue my recovery. Everything we needed was here. We are very blessed to have such support from Serenity House Network and their staff! Thank you for all you do!

It is a privilege to be the first guests to write about this house. We arrived here 5 weeks ago. We were nervous and apprehensive about John’s treatments but also knowing there would be adjustments in our new surroundings. From the first moment of walking in the front door and removing our shoes we felt this was going to be more than a house for the next several weeks, it was going to be home.

Everyone from the Serenity House Network staff and especially Brent and Yvette were helpful and caring towards our needs and questions. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and we spent many hours sitting in the porch room watching the squirrels feeding and play (just like we do back home). We have been able to see some beautiful snowfalls and love the fireplace which we turned on daily.

We encourage everyone staying here to read the “Jesus Calling” daily devotional and highly recommend reading “Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire” that’s found on the bookshelf here.

Our hope and prayer for the families that follow is that they will find the comfort and peace within these walls that we did. Each of us come to Mayo Clinic because something is wrong and we are looking for answers- for hope. Each of us carry our fears, doubts and anxious moments. We found this little house can become a sanctuary; a place of rest and peace to return to at the end of the day.

This house was an answer to many prayers and we pray it will be yours as well. May God bless each of you during your stay.

What a God send this apartment was for us. I was at Mayo for a stem-cell transplant. We found out about Serenity House Network last minute. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend SHN.

Many thanks for the lovely place to stay while we were in Rochester for Kathy’s stem cell transplant. Everything was so nice and clean. We were very comfortable. The kitchen is a good size, the bathroom has great safety rails, and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. Kathy especially liked the recliner in the living room and wants one for home.

We also very much enjoyed the loaf of cinnamon chip bread welcoming us to the Lottie apartment. Mark celebrated his birthday during our stay and the good people of Serenity House Network thoughtfully provided a birthday cake for us to enjoy!
