We arrived here on September 20, 2023 for a medical procedure for my husband and we both got check overs. They found cancer in my breast. They said to plan for a 5 week stay that turned into over 3 months. I had surgery and radiation and now I’m cancer free. We are heading home to Spearfish, SD tomorrow. This place, Greg and his staff have been so wonderful. We had to relocate at one point and Serenity House Network was great to work with. On the day we arrived in September my husband had an episode and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. We weren’t even checked in yet. 6 days in the hospital we lost all our clinic appointments and had to start over. Then he was hospitalized again. He had a stroke and now can no longer drive. Now I am the new driver. Its been a trying time. We are so happy to be able to go home.

We want to thank Greg, Julie, June Ann and Marvin for all the kindness and understanding. Definitely a “home away from home”.

Thank you for providing us this home away from home during our daughters radiation treatment. We found out about Serenity House Network last minute and are so happy that we did. We enjoyed our time here.

My husband Stu had a kidney transplant on November 15th. Our daughter Traci was his donor! Her twin Stacy was her caregiver along with her other sister Kristyn.

We enjoyed staying here where it was cozy, warm and clean. I loved that the kitchen was so stocked with utensils and pans. I was able to make our Thanksgiving meal here as well as many other meals. Thank you for the pumpkin pie!

It was great being only 7 minutes away from the Mayo Clinic!

It felt like home the day we walked in. I cannot thank everyone enough for the pleasure of having an extremely nice place to come to after treatments. I just loved sitting on the deck watching the sun rise while drinking my morning coffee. The red squirrels were very comical to watch. I cannot think of a better therapy for my mental health in dealing with all that cancer throws at you. It was perfect for the relaxing days that were needed.

Thank you to all that made our stay feel like home.

We’re so thankful to be able to go home early from my stem cell transplant. Hope everyone else’s stay will be as nice as ours has been.

The Doris apartment is a nice comfortable apartment. God is good.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Sierra apartment with Serenity House Network. Every single person we interacted with was a total delight. Greg and his business partner have built such a wonderful program that helps folks feel at home while they’re in Rochester. The house is very comfortable with nice beds, electric recliners, quality appliances and fast wifi. The heating system works great and the water gets hot quick. We never had a problem with it going cold. We loved the convenience of the shopping center within walking distance. We really can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting Rochester for medical reasons. Thank you so much!

We arrived in October and experienced the most beautiful fall foliage on 8th street. When we would return home from daily medical appointment’s for Joe’s CAR-T treatment, we would enjoy nature’s beauty. Two different days we looked out the window to find a deer walking down the street!

Yvette’s on 8th is close to Mayo, also close to Hy Vee, movie theatres and the Apache Mall for needed items.

We were thankful for the yummy pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving from Serenity House Network that Brett brought over. So very thoughtful.

We were blessed to have Joe’s mom stay with him while I went back home to work and take care of our family and home. They put the puzzles and games to good use. Brett even granted our wish and brought over a card table for them to use! Thank you for making a challenging time easier.

Thanks for the great home you have provided. It was truly an oasis in the desert of cancer. All of the people with Serenity House Network were great to Cindy and me.

Thank you for providing this home away from home during my husband’s cancer treatments. We don’t know what the future holds, but we are humbled and overwhelmed by God’s goodness. Praise God that we had this time together. Praise God for all of His blessings. For all those coming after us-Trust in the Lord with all your heart. God has a greater plan.
