Shannon’s Place is a private home with wheelchair accessibility – located in a residential neighborhood a few minutes drive from Mayo Clinic. This fully-furnished home is all main-floor living. In addition to the living room, eat-in kitchen, and bedrooms, there is also a laundry room on the main floor . One detached garage stall with remotes is included. This home has a beautiful walk-in shower for guests with mobility issues.

Shannon’s Place House 2024: Fully Furnished Home For Mayo Clinic Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
We arrived here on September 20, 2023 for a medical procedure for my husband and we both got check overs. They found cancer in my breast. They said to plan for a 5 week stay that turned into over 3 months. I had surgery and radiation and now I’m cancer free. We are heading home to Spearfish, SD tomorrow. This place, Greg and his staff have been so wonderful. We had to relocate at one point and Serenity House Network was great to work with. On the day we arrived in September my husband had an episode and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. We weren’t even checked in yet. 6 days in the hospital we lost all our clinic appointments and had to start over. Then he was hospitalized again. He had a stroke and now can no longer drive. Now I am the new driver. Its been a trying time. We are so happy to be able to go home.
We want to thank Greg, Julie, June Ann and Marvin for all the kindness and understanding. Definitely a “home away from home”.
