The Alwood House is a side-by-side duplex comprised of the Scott apartment and the Cathy apartment. The Cathy Apartment is a main-level fully furnished apartment just a short drive to Mayo Clinic and St. Mary’s Hospital. The eat-in kitchen is furnished with Corian countertops. The living room includes a recliner, flat-screen TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an additional flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a full size bed and desk area. Recent updates include new siding in 2025. Additional amenities include a free full-size washer and dryer inside the unit and one detached garage stall with remote.

Cathy Apt. 2022: Fully Furnished Apartment For Mayo Clinic Bone Marrow Transplant Patient And Family In Rochester, MN
We came to Mayo Clinic so my husband could have a bone marrow transplant. This required a 3 month stay in Rochester. God graciously provided a beautiful home for us with Serenity House Network. We stayed at the Cathy apartment and it truly became our “home away from home”. We are so thankful for the kind and gracious care of the SHN family who made us feel loved and cared for.
